Crime Watch
Posted on Nov 29th, 2011
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2012, the Kings River Village Board of Directors will be implementing the Advanced Crime Watch & Neighborhood Patrol Program for our village. This is a comprehensive program that will utilize off-duty patrols by Texas Peace Officers from the Harris County Sheriff’s office and other local law enforcement agencies.
Residents should continue to call 9-1-1 for emergency situations. Non-emergency calls should be directed to the Harris County Sheriff’s office at 713-221-6000.
Calls should not be made to the Pct. 4 Constable’s office after January 1, 2012.
Our new Crime Watch page will include on-line forms to file a crime watch report, file a vacation watch, request an extra patrol, request a home inspection, or to volunteer to be a part of the crime watch committee.
In addition, signs will go up in the village to alert the public at large about the patrols we have in our village.
