We are in the process of painting all 226 fire hydrants within 151. It will take
approximately 3 months to paint all of the 226 hydrants. The base of all hydrants
will be painted blue and the tops of the hydrants will be painted either green or
orange. These colors are used by all state wide fire departments. These two colors
signal a fire truck responding to a fire how much water pressure is available at
that hydrant. Seconds count when responding to a fire.

We appreciate this very much and know how fortunate we are to work for such fine citizens as you, here in Kings River. Thank you again!
